ONX Selected Among America's Greatest Rhone Wines

The annual Rhone Rangers Tasting in San Francisco took place on Saturday, June 10, on a sunny, summer day. Sixty-nine Rhone-focused wineries from around the country gathered to pour hundreds of wine for crowds of enthusiastic consumers and industry professionals.

Among the guests was Pierre DuMont, the esteemed wine writer, competition judge, and editor of the Piedmont Post’s “The Wine Corner”.  DuMont and his team selected ONX’s 2014 Crux as one of the greatest American Rhone wines in 2017. The article published in the Piedmont Post on Thursday, July 12, states, “Paso Robles’s ONX Winery is always at the forefront with creative names and packaging and several different Rhone blends. This year my favorite was Crux - made of 41% Syrah, 32% Mourvedre and 27% Grenache. It is an opulent fruit bomb that explodes with tons of cherry and plum fruit and closes with a smooth, tannin-free finish.” The ONX winemakers and team are honored by the selection, and will strive to continue producing some of the best Rhone wines in America
